Patrick Daubert is a Criminal Defense and Family Law Attorney at Carter DeYoung, Attorneys at Law, in Hyannis, MA on Cape Cod. Patrick gained valuable experience as a law clerk in a small litigation firm pursuing legal malpractice and class action claims. He also clerked for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of General Counsel and was a legal intern for the private client group of a globally recognized law firm.
In 2015, Patrick received the degree of Juris Doctor, cum laude, and was admitted to practice as an Attorney and Counsellor at Law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. After passing the bar, Patrick worked as a conveyancing attorney handling over 200 closings himself and drafting the deeds and other closing documents for over 400 luxury units.
Prior to joining Carter DeYoung in October of 2019, Patrick worked as a solo practitioner on Cape Cod, representing individuals and start-ups, before joining the Barnstable County Bar Advocates list where he continues to accept court appointed in criminal defense matters.
What Makes Him Different: Se habla español
Prior to attending law school, Patrick volunteered for the Innocence Project and Wrongful Convictions Clinic at Duke University School of Law. Attorney Daubert is fluent in Spanish and volunteered on several medical missions to a remote mountain village in the Dominican Republic where he served as a translator between the local, Spanish- and occasionally French creole- speaking patient population and the group of volunteer doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and support staff from across the U.S. who all donated their time, energy and skills to this isolated community.
